Goals & Standards

4. Provide children with the opportunity to discover and practice skills in a nurturing and developmentally
appropriate environment.

Rules:

* Play only in the daycare area of our house and the designated outside play area.

* Play together and respect others with no pushing, grabbing, kicking or biting.

* Please no running, jumping or screaming inside the center.

* Please no horse playing, climbing on one another or lifting or carrying other children.

* Please do not stand on or climb on any toys, tables or furniture.

* Please no going out the front door at anytime without an adult.

* Please no name calling or teasing other children.

Daily Schedule:

7:30 am - 10:00 am : Arrivals/ Free Play Circle Time

10:00 am - 10:30 am Morning Snack

10:30 am - 11:45 am Arts & Crafts/ Indoors or Out

11:45 am - 12:00 pm Clean-up Playroom - Wash up for Lunch
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Lunch
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm Story Time
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Quiet Time (Naptime), Children who do not
nap are provided with quiet activities while
the others sleep
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm Afternoon Snack
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm Structured Play - group activities, puppet
theater, outdoor play, indoor games, etc.
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Free Play/Parent Pickup
 

Mission Statement: Everyday Sunshine exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate

environment for preschool and school age children. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care
and education experience which promotes each child's social/emotional, physical and cognitive
development. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners.
 

Child to Caregiver Ratio

3:1 for children from birth to 12 months,

7:1 for 3-year-olds,

8:1 for 4-year-olds.

12:1 for 5- year-olds and above
