Igniting Young Minds on Entrepreneurship

Workshop Summary:
In this workshop, children (Ages 9-13) will learn about the basics of Entrepreneurship and business. Essentials of
business and characteristics of an Entrepreneur will be discussed. Other components of the workshop will include
Saving, Sharing & Spending money. Exposure to private and public companies will be provided. Kids will also be
encouraged to read, research and leadership skills will be imparted.

What should kids prepare before attending this workshop?

● Read about an Entrepreneur you like.
● Think about two different products you use on a daily basis. Read about the two businesses that created
them. We will discuss the same during the workshop.
● Please have a writing pad(or sheets) and pencil(or pen) handy during the workshop.

Bio of the Instructor :

Karthik Chidambaram is the Founder & CEO of DCKAP. He bootstrapped the company from his small apartment in
Chicago, Illinois. DCKAP was started with 2 people, 2 computers and 2 desks and is now a global team with
headquarters in the Greater Austin area and operations in Chennai, India. Karthik holds a Master’s Degree in
Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and Bachelors in Engineering from
