OUTBOUND TRAINING

Outbound Training - OBT Training or Outbound Learning is a training method for enhancing individual,
team and organizational performance through experiential learning methodology where participants are
involved into outbound training actvities and outbound training games that give a immersive learning
experience and bring out variety of learning outcomes based on the participants and organisational
learning needs.

Outbound Training generally revolve around outbound activities designed to


improve leadership, communication skills, planning, change management, delegation, teamwork,
and motivation. Participants are divided into teams and assigned tasks or activities for completion in a
specified time.

Proposal

Training and Team Building is the core responsibility of any organsation. Organisations across the globe
have people with diverse skill sets and personalities. This contributes to improper implementation,
conflict and competition leading to team initiatives failing often. In order to ensure synergy, organizations
need to constantly sharpen the Team Building Skills of its workforce.
Aim:

APPROACH:

Experiential learning offers many ways where business lessons in real life can be simulated through
action learning, and well researched games, and activities, and offers a chance to practice Learning by
Doing. Adult Learning Principles are incorporated to give a more of “hands-on” approach to learning
which not only provide for more variety, but also leads to a more profound participation and
comprehension. Participants develop teamwork skills by testing their knowledge, skills, and abilities
through newer experiences and challenges. They learn best when put in unique and ambiguous situations.
The debriefing of each activity focuses on structured reflection, generalizing, co-relating and applying the
learning’s to real life work areas.
Tower Building

This is again a very simple game with a straight forward objective. Each of the teams is given a
fixed quantity of office supplies like paper cups, cards, sticks etc. and whichever team is able to
build the tallest tower in the given amount of time is adjudged as winner.
Trolley
High Ropes:

Our high ropes activities are the height of fun if you’re looking for an experience day in – or above – the
outdoors activity.

Based up in the activity centres, we have a variety of high and low challenges for all of our visitors to get
to grips with, and take great delight in showcasing our impressive 35ft Leap of Faith activity for those
with a real head for heights.

Training Outcomes:

After undergoing the training, the participants will be able to:

• Enhance Team Building and Team Bonding in the Team

• Understand the importance of Motivation in the Team

• Understand the importance of working in teams and collaborating within and across teams to achieve
results.
