Dear Dr. Gatchalian,

I am writing to thank you for the opportunity to be interviewed by you regarding the
Regionalization Program of the UP College of Medicine. I enjoyed speaking with you and the
opportunity to learn more about what being a doctor entails.

Our conversation deepened my interest in being of service here in Region VIII. I am already
reassessing how I will be most effective here as a doctor. I am particularly circling around the
idea of heading our town’s district hospital. After all, as an iska, I have a calling to serve the
masses. I feel that improving the hospital (that was meant for them) will not only give them
quality healthcare, but also help them financially.

I hope that my experiences both personally, in my academics, and my extra curriculars also
reflect that. I am really determined to be part of the 2025 class this August. Again, thank you for
letting me share my thoughts on the matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
