Profile: My Cooperating Teacher, Ms.

Houlihan:
Ms. Houlihan teaches
Kindergarten, which include the
subjects of Language Arts,
Mathematics, Science, and Social
Studies.

Ms. Houlihan is a role model who


impacts her students by shaping
their young minds.
This is me when I had Ms.Houlihan as my
Kindergarten Teacher at Linkhorn.
About Ms. Houlihan:
● She has three daughters and a pet bunny.
● Ms. Houlihan has been teaching for 29 years!
● She is the Grade level chair, a Mentor, and has been
on the PTA Board.
● She graduated from Notre Dame with her Bachelors
Degree in Special Education and Emotionally
Disturbed and Learning Disabled. She also minored
in Psychology.

● She received her Masters in Education from Old


Dominion University.
Before Linkhorn Park Elementary:
● She started teaching high school Seriously Emotionally Disturbed adolescents
at the Barry Robinson Center for 5 years.

● Ms. Houlihan then wanted to teach grades 2-5 and moved down to
Elementary School at Glenwood. Now, she has been teaching for 29 years
and is currently at Linkhorn Park.
