Port, this project demanded a continued expansion of the constructions at sea (Marine
Works). The system for this type of construction is performed using floating caissons are
made of precast concrete honeycomb that sank in its final location, fill and remain fixed in
place. This forms the basis for the construction of the port for the project.

Water transmission Pipelines
Water Transmission Project for the long-term supply and construction of the habitants and
communities in Saramacca. Type VAG valves guarantee that this mega project runs smoothly
and efficiently. The EPC contract covered everything from the planning the system into
operation. The good construction was key to ensuring the security of supply for more than
100.000 people. The heart of the system consisted of six plunger valves, fitted with specially
made multiple orifice and slotted cylinders.

In Ammonia and Urea Port: The 1,280-metre-long trestle is composed of a steel frame
structure covered with prefabricated concrete slabs and supported on driven steel piles.
This leads to a loading platform with a similar structure, which provides berths for two
60,000-tonne ships at the same time. The whole comprises 300 piles driven via a mobile
working platform, the Cantitravel, which carries a 400-tonne crane and hydraulic hammer.

Construction of ports: The KPPA (Kuwait Ports Public Authority) supervision request to
expand the Port of Shuaiba industrial complex within the project part of Equate OLK PII,
this port would serve as material storage area for industrial project construction for all
companies involved. Work done in partnership with the Dow Chemical.
The project involves the construction of a pier about 291 m attached to the east side of the
central pier petrochemical plant, through the funding of 11 drawers and stuffing you
backfill. The dock will be aligned with the current docking DOW plant and will involve
dredging of 1.1 million cubic meters and filling with quarry material.

PUERTO PETACA

Position: Chief of work

Work for the Port Authority of Magdalena in the port construction project Petaca in the
municipality of Santa Marta port to handle coal production in the area, through the port
capacity of 100,000 t / y planned for the first phase.

Modernizations: Other projects include the modernization of the port in Cartagena Bavaria
for Bavaria Beer Company that also proposals for consortia renewals Propilco Petco and
Olefins for the port of Cartagena.
The project consists of enabling and improving the outer harbor of the Port of Petaca and
the construction of the new breakwater west of the basin and creating a new dock.
Action is completed, once executed the work of demolition and Poniente old dam, with the
dredging of the dock area to the height demolished -13.5 m. Since there are also problems in
the basin depth 9 think appropriate dredging the entire area up to elevation -16.5 m.
