Insurance

All steel used shall be class 1 material

(shall be obtained from reputable manufacturer with factory production control (FPC)
compliance certificate to BC1:2012 or latest edition.

All structural sections except hollow sections shall be hot rolled steel of grade s355 steel conforming to B.S. EN 100
B.S. 4-1 & B.S. EN 10056 unless otherwise stated.

All structural hollow sections shall be hot-finished conforming to BS EN 10210,

unless otherwise specified.

Unless otherwise stated, all structural steel shall be hot dipped galvanised to
80 microns and two coats of compatible zinc-rich paint shall be applied to exposed steel surfaces

Visual inspection to be carried out on all atructural members & 100% on weld & joints
All welds shall be visually inspected in accordance with BS EN 970 before chosen for testing
Minimum of 10% of the total number of fillet welded joint shall be chosen for testing.

All butt welded joints shall be tested, especially for key structural members.
Painting work
All structural steel delivered to site must be prepared against corrosion
with 1 coat of priner and 2 coats of epoxy paint/ PU paint subjected to

LED light fittings for the extended part of canopy c/w new wiring, conduits, truking and termination to existing DB
LED light fittings shall match with existing light fittings (recessed downlight) type in the canopy

Provisions shall be made for additional breakers if there no sufficient spare
breakers at existing lighting DB's.

Architectural requirements

Metal roofing system from a single manufacturee have a proven track record and relevant ISO 9000 certification
