ESSAY

There is no doubt that new technologies, and especially the Internet, have a

major impact on the way goods and services are purchased and sold. In my

opinion, online shopping has brought significant changes to the lives of consumers.

First of all, the growth of online shopping has contributed to an exponential

increase in the demand for products affordable to individuals. Practically, anything

can be bought from a large retail market. People living in small towns with few

nearby services can now buy products that were once only affordable to those who

lived in big cosmopolitan cities with a wide variety of stores.

Another significant reason is time-saving, which is priority of many people who

busy at works. There are no lines to wait in or cashiers to track down to help you

with your purchases, and you can do your shopping in minutes. Besides, online

stores can offer you a wide variety of choices and deals. There are many reputable
online shopping sites these days. Your purchases are promptly delivered to your

doorstep for free or at a very minimal cost.

In a nutshell, it is clear that innovation has become the primary source for consumer

purchases and plays a vital role in the way people's lives have changed in both positive

and negative ways.
