plot Beginning
Every year, in the ruins of what was once North
America, the Panem Nation Capitol forces each
of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy or
girl to compete in the Hunger Games.

Knot The Hunger Games, a twisted punishment

for an uprising that took place in the past and a
continuing tactic of government intimidation, is
a nationwide televised event in which the
"Tributes" must fight each other until only a
survivor

Ending
Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen is
volunteering in place of her sister to participate
in the games, and is forced to trust her keen
instincts as well as the advice of a former
drunken victor Haymitch Abernathy when She
ends up facing other Tributes who have been
the subject of intensive training and who have
been preparing for these Games throughout
their lives. If she wants to return to her home in
District 12, Katniss will have to make impossible
decisions in the arena where she will have to
oppose survival to humanity, and life to love.
