Reflection Paper

The Documentary was about a family who’s experiencing Poverty. They say they are
times they eat only once in a three days and twice a week and if there’s nothing to eat they just
sleep or walk around. Almost all of the Member of the family did not finish studying because of
poverty, The mother of the family said that she was here in the manila since she was 8 years old
and only finish grade 2 so she decide to get married. She haw 7 children but 4 of them died, Her
19th Years Old daughter has a child already but doesn’t have father, She also did not finish her
study. She has a two siblings and both of them did not experience going to school.

The Documentary make me feel sad and I felt pity on them because the authority and
people with position those don’t paying attention to the community and people who is
experience a poverty. We all know that education is the most important when we reach the
stage of having consciousness yet our government and people with authority does not give
attention on it, the budget for education are not enough because there are still part of our
country who’s lack of attention on giving a daily or basic needs like food, work and even
education that’s way many are experiencing poverty like the family on the documentary. After
watching the documentary my vision in life on helping my family and helping others become
stronger than before because in a simple sawing a people on a side walk make my heart warm
and thinking at least a small way to help them and know watching the documentary I said to
myself that I must help those people who Is lack of attention and doesn’t have voice to ask for
help because of their status on life. This documentary make me realize more how people like
them needed a person to help them and in the future at least a small thing I want to help them
and through valuing the blessing I have I right now which is education I will do and I will finish
my education for me to do all my vision I want to fulfill.
