You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand of
visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central Park,
the Metropolian museum and
Time’s Square. In the picture
you can see the Statue of
Liberty, a monumet built
between 1875 and 1986. It is
93 meters tall. The statue is

the Hudson River.

House
In the image you can see the
Saint Peter´s Square, is an open
urban space that is located in
the Vatican City,within the city of
Rome and it precedes,as great a
períptera room, the Basilica of
San Pedro,the great temple of
Catholiscism.It was entirely
projected by Gian Lorenzo
Bernini between 1656 and
1667.It is considered that this
was the explosion of the great
baroque “theater”of the time as a
systematization of the power of
the Catholic Church.

Sydney Opera House is one of
the most famous buildings in the
world, and was declared a World
Heritage Site by Unesco in
2007.It was designed in 1957 by
the Danish architect Jorn Utzon
and opened in 1973.The Sydney
Opera House has five theaters,
five rehearsal studios,two main
rooms,six ars,four restaurants
and several souvenir shops.
This emblematic building is the
main tourist place to visit and
enjoy in Sydney.You will be
amazed to contemplate its
interesting desing and
architecture.

Castle,prudly situates above the
vibrant gardens of Princes
Gardens,Edinburg Castle is a
timeless icon that captivates the
hearts of most locals and visitors
a like.From Grassmarket Square
or the surroundings of the
Waverly train satation, you can
enjoy this fortress from others
perspectives.

meters.More than 12.000

participed in the construction of
the building.It was previously
know as Burj Dubai (Dubai
