You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para

New York is a big city in the

America). It takes thousand of
visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central Park,
the Metropolian museum and
Time’s Square. In the picture
you can see the Statue of
Liberty, a monumet built
between 1875 and 1986. It is
93 meters tall. The statue is

Rome is the capital of Italy. It
has a population around 2.9
million residents. In Italy, you
can find The Grand canal of
Venice where you can ride
boats. Rome has a los of

Peter’s square. At the center
of the square is an Egyptian
obelisk.

Sydney is the most populoues
city in Australia. It’s located
on the east coast. In the
picture you can see The
Sydney Opera House, the
building occupy the whole of
Bennelong Point in Sydney
Harbour. This building was
opened in 1973 and it became
a UNESCO World Heritage site
in 2007

Edinburgh is the capital city of
Scotland, and it’s the second
most populous city in
Scotland.

Scotland has a lot of


mountains and hills to people
who love to go hiking. In the
picture you can see the
Edinburgh Castle, it’s a
historic fortress which
dominates the skyline of
Edinburgh.

Dubai is the most populous
city in UAE. The city has a lot
of modern buildings. Dubai is
located in the Arabian
Dessert.

In the picture you can see The


Burj Khalifa, it’s the tallest
skyscraper around the world.
Outside was designed a
fountain system.

When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform
as follows:

1. Click on the title of this evidence.
