Summary • This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation of the Varidor 30AP T2 car
door and the Varidor 30AP T2 landing door.
• The adjustments of closing force, opening speed and closing speed are described in
K 603349 "SSM Commissioning" and EJ 604269 "IDD Commissioning".

 4.1.1 Pre-Assembly of Door Frame

Door Frame

Support
Installation 400 Insert the right and left fixing angle (2 and 7) on the top of closing and opening
jamb (3 and 8).
400 Install and secure the frame header (5) to the jambs (3 and 8) and the fixing
angles (2 and 7) using the M10x20 rip head bolt (9) with cage nut (1).
401 Secure the frame header (5) on the closing jambs (3) using two M6x12 rip head
bolts (4), bend the fastening lugs (11).
402 Install and secure the protection plate (6) by bending the fastening lugs (10).

secure the closing jamb (4) to the sill support (2) with the M10x20 bolt (3) and by
bending the fastening lugs.

Installation
405 Align and fasten the sill support (4) to the hoistway wall (7) using the three M12
anchor bolts (1) according to the instruction J 45300397, tighten by hand only.
406 Align and fasten the sill angle (5) to the sill support (4) using three M12x35
bolts (6), RIP washers (3) and nut (2), tighten by hand only.
407 Align and level the sill support (4) and tighten all anchor bolts (1) by torque wrench
with the torque >= 50 Nm.
408 Align the sill angle (5) and tighten all M12 bolts (6).
409 Repeat the previous four steps on each floor.

420 Install and secure the sill (1) using the M8x20 T-head bolt (3), RIP washers and
nuts.
421 Screw the M6 stud bolts (5) in toe guard (8), install and secure the toe guard (8)
to the sill support of the door frame (2) using the M6x12 bolt (9).
422 Adjust the M6 stud bolt (5) against the wall and ensure the toe guard (8) is vertical.
The M6 stud bolt (5) could be shortened if necessary.

bolts (9) and washers (10).
438 Fix the up fixation angle (2) onto control cabinet using the M6x16 bolt (1), tighten
by hand only.
439 Position the control cabinet (4) between the jamb (11) and the wall.
440 Align the jamb fixation (8) with the jamb (11), fasten the control cabinet (4) to the
jamb (11) using the screws (7).
441 Fasten the lateral fixation (5) on the control cabinet (4) using the screw (7).
442 Align and fasten the control cabinet (4) to the wall using the M5x40 anchor bolt (6)
according to J 45300397.

Arm Securing 456 Drill four diameter-5 mm-holes on the carrier 1 (3) and the carrier 2 (4) through the
four holes in the door panel 1 (2) and door panel 2 (5).
457 Hammer the spring pins (1) into the holes and make the door panel 1 and 2 (2 and
5), the carrier 1 and 2 (3 and 4) secure.
