 INTRODUCTION
This following final project present a description city San
Francisco de Macorís, it has the description of places,
history, people and features paths of the city.

This assignament is written in simple present and present

continues.
 SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS

Capital of the Duarte Province. It´s located in the northeast portion of the
island, along the river Jaya in eastern Cibao Valley.

The name of San Francisco de Macorís comes from a fusion of the name of
the Franciscan order (the religious organization of Spain who came to this
country during colonization) and the name of indigenous territory that is
Macorix.

The city as population is made up of neighborhoods, communities and

surrounding fields. In some of them we can find a library, a park, a sport
court, medical clinic, clothing store, ice cream shop, bookstore, internet
centers, supermarket, police department. Among other things.

San Francisco de Macorís has attractions such as the Stadium Julián Javier,
a sports center with a baseball field, an indoor basketball court, a running
track, gym. And as recreational, a green area, children´s playground, a
small park and various useful spaces to share.

In sport there are two national teams which are Cibao Giants in the baseball
and Indians San Francisco de Macorís in basketball.

There is also the City Hall, the Municipal Library, the central park called
Uarte Park, and a municipal funeral parlor.

There is also the Santa Ana Cathedral, which is called the patron saint in
the Catholic church in the city. These festivities are celebrated on July 26
each year.
One of the most visited places in the city is the Mount of Getsemaní, a
meditation center and religious area. It is a place where religious fathers,
partors, nuns, counselors, people ready for when you need help.

And several shopping centers are organized as: supermarkets Yoma

Supercenter, Palmares Mall and Multi Siren. Some shopping malls and
national and international franchises such as Burger King, Pizza Hut, Bon
ice cream and Nestlé. Where we can find establishments such as banks,
bars, fast food centers, gym, nursery printers, florists, beauticians,
insurance agency, shipping agency money, insurance agencies, pastries,
and more. Collectively, we can mention various occupations found in such
places as: cashiers, managers, musicians, customer service, receptionists,
secretaries, clerks, assistants, coaches, security, computers technicians,
florist, hair stylistis, babers, insurance agents, confectioners, cooks,
decorators, janitors, among others.

In public transport buses, taxis, public cars, public motorcycle, public

buses, among others.

University regional hospital st. Vincente de Paul, is the only hospital in the
region having a large humber of employees such as doctors, nurses,
medical assitants, secretaries, radiologists, and medical specialists also said
hospital serves as a center of teaching medical students, bioanalysts
nursing.
 CONCLUSION

In the present project helps lecerne and review.

And improve pronuntiation also it permits to reinforce the
types of the written test.
