AIMS: By the end of the lesson, the Ss will be able to:
1. introduce new vocabulary in sentences of their own;
2. know the name of artists which were explained;
3. listen for specific information;
4. express their opinion on what is important in appreciation of art;
5. say their opinion about the quotation on the bottom of the page;
PERSONAL GOALS: to make Ss understand the importance and beauty of art
ASSUMPTION: Ss may be familiar with the new domain who will be explained.
PREDICTED PROBLEMS: some Ss may don’t understand all the words in the text

Procedure ACTIVITY 1: The T present the first exercise and explained
what Ss have to do. After the Ss read the texts, they need to
guess the names of the famous artists described in the
paragraphs.

ACTIVITY 2: The T asks Ss if they know what every word . If


they don’t know, T tries to explain those word.

ACTIVITY 3: The T asks the Ss to answer the questions from


the following exercise related to the text

Activity 4: The T asks the Ss to say their opinion about art and
if this is important. The Ss give their opinions thinking about
the factors in exercise 2.

ACTIVITY 5: The T asks the Ss to look at a painting and


answers a series of questions.Ss must to say in 2-3 sentences
his personal opinion about the painting
