IV. PROCEDURES:
A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson:
1. Singing of welcome song “Funga Alafia”.
2. Show musical score, ask the pupils what are the symbols that they’ve
seen in the score
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson:
1. Review the different kind of notes and rest and its value.
3. Next give focus on quarter notes/rests and eighth notes and rests, this
time use localized syllabication in giving the value of notes and rests.
e.g. YE-MA for 2 eight notes and CAKE for 1 quarter note.

your task if you are not following direction?
2. Is following direction important in your everyday living? Site some
events that actually happened in your experiences that shows how being
obedient is very important.
