● Create a schedule or routine for your day (M-F) ○ Include: ■ Snack breaks ■ Movement breaks ■ Sleep routine - keep it the same as much as possible
● Use a timer during breaks ○ Keep yourself on track ○ Help limit distractions
● Set alarms for starting & switching tasks ○ Example: 10:30 begin ELA on M/W/F
● Drink water & eat healthy food to help your brain focus
● Focus on the current day’s lessons ○ Avoid working too far ahead ○ Don’t get distracted/overwhelmed by all the other stuff!
● Close other tabs on the computer ○ Limit distractions
● Set goals and rewards ○ Examples: ■ If I complete all of today’s lessons, I can play a game for 20 minutes. ■ If I stick to my schedule for the day, I can call my friend at the end of the day.
