I. Write THREE topic sentences from a given thesis statement.

Thesis statement: Homeschooling is an effective way of educating children as it gives an opportunity to focus on
personal strength and weaknesses, make emphasis on the particular subjects a child has an interest in, and adapt the
studying approach to the most convenient for a child.

Topic sentence 1:

First of all, homeschooling will help kids to concentrate on their health and forte.

Topic sentence 2:

Secondly, when study at home, children can study the subjects that they enjoy.

Topic sentence 3:

Last but not least, homeschooling makes a suitable studying approach for kids
II. Essay writing

Write an essay of the minimum of 250 words on the following topic.

Some people think that everyone has the right to have access to university education, and that government should
make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion. Use specific reasons and details to support your
answer.

There are different views about government should take all responsibility to free all school-fee for every student, so
that everyone can go to school no matter how he or she is rich or poor. In my point of view, we should not make the
school-fee free for all students, because there are both advantages and disavantages of this point.
On the one hand, school-fee is a big matter for student who have poor financial background. A lot of students can
not go to school because they can’t afford the tuition fee. It would be a giant oppurtunity for students if government
helpt them to make the school-fee free. Knowlegde and regardless should never come with a price tag. Although
different of financial background of every student, they have the right to go to university education because of their
intelligence and capacity. If a country want to be rich, the government should take care for all students. Thus
wisdom of them can contribute to the economy of country.
However, free school-fee will has many cons. Providing free tuition fee might push the government into the verge
of bankruptcy. Taxes can help student to go to school for free, but it would be an important problem for citizens.
High taxes can harm to people and government. Free school-free maybe can’t impellent the willing of study.
Students can drop school althought it is free for them to access. They want to make money first to afford the daily
cost.

To conclude with the arguments given above, free school-fee has both advantages and disavantages. The
government should take into account this matter by providing scholarships for students who can not afford the
tuition fee
