canal should be wet with irrigant.
• Dry the canal with tapered paper points.
• Fit the largest System B Buchanan Heat
Plugger to the binding point that is 5-7mm
short of working length. Set the silicone stop
against the reference point. Fit a Buchanan
Hand Plugger at this level.
• Coat the apical third of the cone with a thin
layer of sealer; Tubliseal EWT or Pulp Canal
Sealer EWT are ideal.
• Insert cone to length - ‘wicking’ the canal
walls with sealer as you fit.
• Down Pack – with heat on, push
to just short of silicone stop reference in one
movement – approx 3 seconds.
• Heat off & maintain pressure for 10 seconds. • Condense with a
