Why do people like watching the same movie over and over again? Are you one of those?

Since the invention of motion-picture films in the end of 19th century people all over the world
have produces uncountable movies, ranging in genre and style. Nowadays its virtually
impossible to watch all the movies ever made, people have to choose carefully what the will
spend their time on. With all this diversity some movies tend to reappear on the watch list.
Why is that?

It's obvious that movies greatly differ in their quality, genre and style. Movie directors tend to
make their movies in a similar style unique to them, using special filming techniques and
storytelling. Some directors enjoy working with certain actors, so the latter appear in their
movies on a regular basis. After all, people watch movies to get certain emotional response to
them. As for me, I really like movies by brothers Coen, as the feelings I get from watching
their movies again and again is really unique.

Therefore people like watching the same movie over and over again to freshen their
memories and once again get the feelings they got when they watched it for the first time.
