Essay

Paying university fee is certainly something which is often discussed in today’s world. It is highly

debatable whether the government should pay for the education of every student. As far as I am

concerned, I am for discussing the arguments before reaching the conclusion.

Initially, the ability to obtain education for free will significantly benefit society. It will instantly

effects on poverty and decrease it. Furthermore, in spite of the fact that many universities have

different programs with the aim of financing students, it is not enough for everyone. According to the

fact that most Georgian parents are suffering from economic and financial problems, they are not able

to pay for their children and if the government does not support this type of people to get qualified

education, then who?

In addition,from the point of view of the individual, nowadays the world is structured in such a way

that having a good education system means that we have an educated youth and the country is still

continue developing.Added to this,some students stay out of university,since they cannot capable of

paying fee and unfortunately there is not any other option for them to get knowledge. Lack of

education, unemployment and poverty are key factors of crime,so with free education crime in that

country will also will be defeated.

On the other hand, as the number of students will rise, the government has to spend a

significant part of budget for all students.Moreover, free education on university level

will put more burdens on government's shoulder and this way government cannot spend

more money on other important thing such as health and defense which are equally

important for the development of any country.

Taking all the points into consideration, both universities and the government

should help parents, but the latter should also try to save money during their

working experience in order not to be dependent on others and provide their

children with everything, including paying university fee.
