Pieces involving more than 4 may be allowed upon
the discretion of the Musical Director.
• Maximum time for a recital piece is 5 minutes.
Pieces longer than 5 minutes must obtain approval
from the Musical Director.

III. Mentorship Program

• Violin Mentors: Bright Judan, Yun Jung Jang, Serge

• Piano Mentors: RJay Castro, Elizabeth Sabate, Gio

• Minimum of 6 sessions designed to introduce the
instrument to the student and to guide him/her in
the recital
• 1 session per week = 1-2 hours
• To accommodate for the differences in schedule, •
there will be 2-3 batches per week, choose a batch

VI. Announcement for New Members
• You are given one time-slot in Lumiere to showcase
your talent as a batch. Make sure to meet and
communicate with your batch.
• Choose a batch leader on or before September 25
(Wednesday). Batch leader must be a UPM
undergraduate student.
• Present your batch name on October 5 tutti
rehearsals.
VI. Regular Schedule of Practices
• Violin 1 Sectionals – Tuesday 6-8 PM
• Violin 2 Sectionals – Friday 6-8 PM
• Tutti Rehearsals – Saturday 8-12 NN
• Mentorship Program

• Note:
o There are no sectionals for piano, viola,
cello, and flute. Instead, you will be
assessed by the Musical Director every tutti
rehearsals.
o For cello, you are free to schedule your own
sectionals.
