Short life story
Marc Anthony was born on September 16, 1968,
in New York City, United States. With twelve
years, singing the theme of Mickey Mouse, he
was discovered. He was a choir singer of the
Menudo group. In 1994, he received a Lo Nuestro
Award and a Billboard Award in the category of
Revelation Artist of the Year. He has 5 children,
one with a New York police officer, two with Miss
Universe 1993 and the other two with Jennifer
Lopez. In 2012, he created the Maestro Cares
Foundation, a foundation that has been
dedicated since then to supporting the poorest
children in Latin America.

At the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in
Chile, the singer made a donation on behalf of his
Maestro Cares Foundation, along with the Bizarro
Live Entertainment group, to the MATER Renal
Infantile Corporation of Chile.
The donation for $ 300,000 will be destined to
the construction of a shelter that will receive
children from other areas of the country in
Santiago, who travel with their families for
medical treatment, but do not have the
resources to pay for accommodation.
Actions taken
The singer remembers that when he was little, he
was poor and received support from various
social programs focused on art, especially music.
That is why today it places all its trust in this type
of actions to offer new generations alternatives
for improvement.
Possible effects
Since its inception, Maestro Cares has completed
the construction of projects in several Latin
American countries that help more than 500
children, victims of neglect and abuse, with
housing, nutrition and education.
