Pedagogy

Activity Describe what the
learning activity will be. What will
the students and the teacher be
doing with the app?
The activity the students will be doing is they will
have their picture taken and have their face changed
to look like they are 60 years old using the app,
Magic Face, and the teacher will be taking the
pictures. The students will have to write what they
have done in the next 50 years while using details to
support it like if a students says they are a
veterinarian they will talk about how they went to
school for it and where they are living and what
their life has been like.
This activity will have students writing about one
aspect of a holiday which will be chosen from the
learning objective and that aspect could be on
traditions or who the person that is being
celebrated. The students will post a paragraph about
the aspect of the holiday on ClassDojo than other
students will ask questions about the holiday and
they must answer the questions. The teacher will
monitor what is written on the app.
