OBJECTIVES : The trainees will perform bed stripping in preparing the room for guest

LABORATORY WORK:

Materials Required: (attached Information sheet for details)

All Linens

Tools & Equipment Required:

RA’s Trolley/Cart complete with supplies
Bed
Laundry cart

Procedure

1. Knock the door.

2. Remove bed cover. Shake out and check for lost items. Check for stains, burn marks. Fold
properly.
3. Loosen beddings all sides to avoid tears on sheets.
4. Remove 3rd sheet. Shake out and check for lost items, check also for stains and burn marks.
5. Remove blanket. Shake out and check for lost items. Check for stains, tears and burn marks.
6. Remove 2nd sheet, Shake out and check for lost items. Check for stains, tears and burn
marks.
7. Remove pillow case. Shake out and check for lost items. Check for stains, tears and burn
marks.
8. Remove first sheet. Shake out and check for lost items. Check for stains, tears and burn
marks.
9. Remove bed pad. Check for stains, tears and burn marks. Drape it on chair to air out.
10. Let the bed air. Air the bed while doing other work. Make sure to dust part of the bed that
maybe difficult to do after the spread has been adjusted.

Trainer examination and inspection, using the following

criteria;
EVALUATION:
1. All steps and procedures were completed in the correct
sequence.
2. All safety precautions were followed in using the tools and
equipment.
3. Room should be clean, organized, sanitized, eye
appealing
4. The linens be should be properly strip
