JOB SHEET : Cleaning of Laundry Area

OBJECTIVES : The trainees will clean the laundry area after laundering.

LABORATORY WORK:

Materials Required:
Mop with mop handle
Mop wringer
Broom
Dust pan
Garbage bin

Procedure
1. Put all the tools/equipments like basin, brushes and other washing supplies in
proper place after laundry.
2. Dry the wet portion of the laundry area with mop, if mop is dripping use mop
wringer to squeeze out excess water.
3. Clean and dry the laundry equipments like washing machine and drier in its
proper place. Cover the equipment with its own cover, or with a piece of cloth.
4. Check laundry equipments for any electrical defect before and after usage. Roll
cord at the back for safety purposes, not to be bitten by rats etc.
5. Store laundry equipments in its proper place.

Evaluation Trainer examination and inspection, using

the following criteria:
1. All given procedures were
completed and carried.
2. Proper tools and equipments for
cleaning the Laundry area were
properly use.
3. Works accomplish at given period
of time.
