DISCUSSIONS:
An arithmetic sequence is a sequence where every term after the first is
obtained by adding a constant called the common difference.

In general, the first n terms of an arithmetic sequence with a1 as first term


and d as common difference are

a1, a1+ d, a1 +2d, …, a1 + (n-1)d.

Rule: an= a1+(n-1)d
