Introduction:

Fertilizer are the something that is helpful to the farmers. This made the plants

grow even more healthy and beautiful. There are many kinds of fertilizer as we

can observe those natural or organic fertilizer like carabaos, chicken, and other

animals manures; on the other hand, there is also chemical fertilizer which is now

common to some of us. An example of this is, the chemical solution that can be

sprayed in some plants that can help to grow natural or organic. Organic fertilizer

cannot harm plants even when too much of it was putted in the plant according

to a study.

Unlike the chemicals, it can harm plants when lack or excess solution was

added. Having a fertilizer is good, it can make farmers easy to have bountiful

farm to harvest, it can also make the farmers easy to have exchange of there

hardworks when working whatever plants they farm. Fertilizers are beneficial

because it leaves a big impact why farmers eat together with there family and us

other people.

According to study by homeguides, banana stem contain nutrients that are

essential for healthy potted plants. However, they don’t contain everything your

plants needs. As they decompose, banana stem add potassium as well as small

amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and magnesium to the soil in a similar fashion as

a slow release fertilizer. This is use as a substitute for chemical fertilizer.

 Fertilizer are meant to help a plant grow more healthy and bountiful. The most

important factor to have a beautiful and healthy farm is the proper way of taking

care of it.

Scope and Delimitation:

The samples (banana stem) used in the study was collected in the back of

school. The plant (chilli) that we used in the study was collected from farm of

Eclarinal residence.

This study is non-descriptive and will only focused on the effectiveness of

banana stem as a fertilizer and will limited to the production of organic fertilizer

from the decomposition of banana stem.

This research will be conducted by a grouped of student from grade 11 TVL of

Taltal National High School.

The stem will soaked into the water for a 21 days and will be sprinkled on the

plants afterwards.
Background Of The Study:

Banana are a suitable composed materials, breaking down within the compose to

provide a nutrients rich additive for garden soil. Like other fruits and vegetables

matter, the smaller the banana or banana stem pieces, the faster they break down

within the compost. A full size banana or peel takes three to four weeks to

decompost. Whether you compost with the help of worms via vermicomposting or

through traditional compost, which gets hot a material brake down outdoor,

banana break down in the process, adding nitrogen to the compost. Airflow is

crucial to banana breakdown and the composting process, to turning the compost

or poking holes in it from to time is necessary.

The inventions provide a banana stem and leaf organic fertilizer, the banana

stem and leaf organic fertilizer has the effect of the grading pesticides residues,

improving soil and promoting plant growth.

Statement of the problem:

The study of using organic fertilizer that the capacity of banana peels (e.g Musa

paradisiaca)

1. Examine the efficacy of banana (Musa balbisiana) stem extract as a growth

enhancer to chilli plant (Capsicum annuum) based on the following parameters:

1.1 Length of leaves

1.2 Stem growth and elongation

2. Compare the effectiveness of (Musa balbisiana) banana stem extract to

commercial fertilizer
