First, the employees are not ready for the new position. Often in many cases, they completed a excellent
project and received a promotion offer of their director. However, it was lucky and they find themselves
missing out many skills and they need to have more time to improve necessary skills for the new
position. After that, they will be ready for next oppoturnitys.
Second, the promotion offer is not in the right moment. Par example, i am very favored at my work
because i worked so hard for a longtime in my company. After 2 years working, i received a promotion
offer of my director for assistant director position but i refused it. At that moment, my family was having
a lot of difficults and i had to spend more time for it. I think the employees should refuse to be promoted
when they also have different problems in the moment they receive the promotion offer.
Third, they feel uncomfortable with the new team. It’s so disagreeable when they have to work with the
team which has many lazy people or inresponsible people in their new position . The efficiency of work
depend profusely on the environment of work. Therefore, the employees should refuse the new position
in the bad environment of work .
In conclusion, i beleive that sometimes employees refuse to be promoted when they are not ready , they
realize the unsuitable moment and the new team of their new position is not good.
