ASSIGNMENT

Madar Railway Station

We will done a short visit at Madar Railway station with Pravesh Saini sir and all my classmates. It was
very great experience, At Madar railway station I watch the function of rails in the railway track, which
transfer load from wheel safely to sleeper and ballast. I also seen points and crossing function, by which
train changes their track.. I also saw the joints in between two rails. Then after we also seen how
locomotive will washed at washing shed. It was great experience with our classmates. The sir at washing
area tells us how the whole process of washing of locomotives takes place. The best part of Madar
railway station is that it was satellite railway station. The satellite railway station is far away from busy
railway station of that town (Madar railway station). From satellite station trains can terminate and
originate from these stations without congesting these main stations.

Ajmer diesel loco and wagon workshop

We will done a short visit at Ajmer diesel loco and wagon workshop with pravesh Saini sir , Dhruv
Saxena sir and my classmate. It was great experience, that I was how the maintenance work of wagon is
takes place of both coaches and diesel engine. In between this that I will also seen the steel structures
which was build in workshop for making sheds, and also seen the various cranes used by them to carry
various heavy parts from one place to another . I also seen the crane which carry wagon from one shop
to another shop. Which was located in centre of workshop. In between this at front gate of workshop I
will seen the multistory parking facilities provided at railway workshop.

Green concrete
A concrete that made from concrete waste and its uses less energy in its production and also produces
less carbon dioxide than normal concrete. This concrete is called eco friendly and reduces
environmental impact, and it saves energy and waste water. Green concrete is also defines as the
concrete with material as a partial or complete replacement of cement or fine or course aggregate.
There are various material of green concert are, recycled concrete aggregate, blast furnace slag(BFS),
glass aggregate.
