5 Testing the Trip Times

Local hardware configuration: 3 voltage outputs must be activated as phase-to-earth
voltages.
1 trip command and the group signal 'S-Warning' must be routed
to separate binary inputs.
Settings in the test module:
In the ‘State Sequencer’ module the trip times of the 4 voltage stages are tested one after
another.
The inserted test steps ‘Healthy 1 … 5’ guarantee a safe reset of the relay after each trip.
Note: During the test all 3 voltages must be set to nominal frequency and be symmetrical, in
order to
prevent starting, e.g. the frequency protection function.
Testing the trip times of the overvoltage protection is possible in this case, because the trip
times of
