3 Testing the Trip Times


Local hardware configuration: 3 voltage outputs must be activated as phase-to-earth
voltages.
1 trip command and the signal 'f<> Warning' must be routed to
separate binary inputs.
Note: For this application example the warning signals of all
protective functions are routed to a binary relay output as a group
signal ('S-Warning').
Settings in the test module:
In the ‘State Sequencer’ module the trip times of the 4 frequency elements are tested one
after
another. The inserted test steps ‘Healthy 1 … 5’ guarantee a safe reset of the relay after each
trip.
