INTRODUCTION

As per the Indian Constituition, this land is called India. In the video it is described
that why “India is called Bharath”.

The word Bharath etymologically stands for BHA – the knowledge which comes from
spreading of light and RATH – one who is a connoisseur of knowledge. The spread of
this land is also expressed in the literature of the land. In the Rig Veda, Rishi
Vishwamitra describes the people living in this land as Bharatham Janam, the word
janam means “people- citizens”. In this D.K. Hari states that “Bharath is the land
where people relished knowledge”.
In the Land of Bharat, the Vishnu Purana 2.3.1- mentions Bharat as a well-marked
geographical region which is evident from the Sanskrit verse which means that land is
called Bharat which lies north of the oceans and south of the snowy mountains the
Himalayas, the land is known as Bharatham & those who are bharatiya considered it
as a motherland and live in it as a children of the soil.
The land of Bharath, as India was known in ancient times, had four boundaries.
Mahasagar, the Indian Ocean in south. Himalaya, the snowcapped mountains in north.
Ashtachal mountains in the west and Arunachal Mountains in the east. Arunachal
region is an important landmark in Indian geography, marking its eastern boundary.
Aruna means “The first rays of the sun” and Achal means “Mountains”. Arunachala is
the “land of the rising sun”.
There were many kings in the civilization who have attributed to this land Bharat.
Bharata Chakravartin was a son of Rishabhanatha, the first jain Tirthankar who
conquer, he was the brother of Baahubali who stands tall as Gomteshwar and the other
great king is Bharat the son of Shakuntala and Dushyant poet kalidasa in his son’s
great classic made king Bharath popular.
The Persians and the Arabs who came east towards the river Sindhu which slows in
the north west of the country. The Greeks used to call us Indoi meaning the people of
Indus. Greek scholars of BCE Hugh Tinga and Ptolemy both showed India as Indie in
their maps. Thereafter, the term Indie, India came to be known as Bharath Khanda and
Bharatvarsha.

In this continent of Bharath Khanda lay the country bharatvarsha, this bharatvarsha
extended from Afghanistan in the west to Arunachal Pradesh in the east from
Himalayas in the north to the Indian ocean in the south. The Puranas have mentioned
Bharat Varsha as one land.
In the components of Bharat Varsha, D.K. Hema Hari states that this land is
recognized as one Bharat Varsha. And al-bruni a Persian chronicler visited India along
with Muhammad of Ghazni. He chronicles his observation into a book kitab all hint.
He says the division of Prathama is primary one. The division of BharatVarsha is
secondary one. There is still a third division into nine parts which are Panchala,
Magadha, Kalinga, Avanti Ujjain, Ananta, Sindhu and Sauvira, Hara Haura, Madura &
Kulinda. From his statement we can gather that even though they were independent
kingdom or distinct geographical regions of this land. They will look that as one
single country called pirate version.

In Trivishtup Tibet, it is told that the land to the north of Himalayas is called Tibet.
Tibet is called through wished up in some script language. The bit got its name by the
Indian plate and slowly moving northwards in the remote pass which hit the Asian
plate many million years ago, when it hit the Asian plate it created a crumple and what
came of this crumple is a massive range of mountains. This crumpled mountain range
tretched from pehran in Iran in the west to Hanoi in Vietnam in the east. This is what
they now called the Himalayan Range. This impact had created three crumpled zone
in this Himalayan range. The lower ranges known as Shivalik.
Shivalik where life exists in abundance, the middle rangebis known as Mahabharat the
great range that encapsulates the northern borders of the land of bharat, the third range
is the highest range and is called himaliya which is always covered in snow.
And because of these three layers or crumple zones the flatland on the other side of
Himalayas came to be called trivishtup meaning the thrice folded land. This word
trivishtup have got anglicized and became tibet. The tibet had a scientific name
trivishtup from a geological happening Varsha comes to India every year.
In this, D.K Hari talks about the forces of nature that builds a stream to this land
every.
In the month on may there is summer in the northern hemisphere. In the interiors of
india, temperatures saw to 45 degrees centigrade and even more. In Saharadesert the
temperature range is between 45 degrees to 50 degrees centigrade and this extreme
heat causes low pressure. During the same time, it is winter in the southern
hemisphere, the great Australian desert is cooler and hence high pressure is prevailed.
As winds always move from high pressure to low pressure so the cool winds move
from central Australia in northwesterly direction towards the hot Sahara Desert, as the
winds crossed the equator they turned right in continents with nature due to the
Earth’s spin which is explained as Farrel’s law. Picking up moisture along the way
from the Indian Ocean, the moisture laden winds blow in towards India thereby
bestowing monsoon rain all over the land.
In the last episode, they talk about the connection between the history varsha’s which
are land as Varsha, rain as Varsha and the year as Varsha.
In the whole world, after the amazon forests, the one single landmass that gets the
highest rainfall consistently year after year is Bharat Varsha which is India.

The onset of monsoon rains varsha which came the same time every year marked year
for the farmers in the agrarian society of bharat, hence varsha also came to denote the
concept of a year. Thus, there is a discreet connection between rain year and land. Rain
is varsha, year is also varsha, the land over which the rain varsha rained prosperity
year on year is also bharat varsha.
