In order to use the atvise® builder software as of
version 2.52 with an ILC 1x1 or an AXC 1050 (XC) small-
scale controller, certain requirements must be met and cer-
tain settings made.

2 Hardware requirements
– ILC 1x1 modular small-scale controller with firmware
version ≥ 4.30 or AXC 1050 (XC) modular small-scale
controller with firmware version ≥ 2.10

Note:
Use the SD card as the main memory when using
a ILC 1X1 modular small-scale controller with
firmware 4.40 or later versions.
– SD FLASH 2GB ATVISE SD card (Order No. 2400088)
or SD FLASH 2GB APPLIC A ATVISE SD card (Order
No. 2400089) for enabling the controller's own web
server for access to visualizations created with atvise®
builder

When using the SD card, visualizations created


with the WebVisit software are deactivated. Only
visualizations that have been created with the at-
vise® builder software can be displayed.

This application note is valid for all products listed in the ordering data.

4 Installing the atvise® builder soft-


ware and making the necessary
settings
• Start the downloaded installation program.
• Follow the instructions in the installation program.
• At the end of the installation process, click on “Finish”.
Before atvise® builder can be used, you must enable your
license for the software.
• Enable your license for the atvise® builder software.
The software can now be started in order to make the nec-
essary settings.
• Start atvise® builder.
When starting the software for the first time, the “Project
Console” dialog box opens.

• From the “Type” drop-down list, select the “Phoenix
Contact - webMI” entry.
• Enter the IP address of the controller as the “Host-
name”.
This setting can also be made at a later time.
• Click on the “Distribution” button.

6 Visualization of variables from a


PC Worx project
In order to visualize variables from a PC Worx project with
atvise® builder, the following requirements must be met:
– The variables to be visualized have been created in
PC Worx.
– The “PDD” checkbox for the variables is activated.

• Recommended procedure:
Prior to the first download, remove the “alarm.wav” au-
dio file from the atvise® builder software's project tree
(see Figure 12).

Please note:
It may take a few minutes to download a visualiza-
tion to the controller for the first time.
By removing the audio file from the project tree, it
takes less time to download a visualization to the
controller for the first time. In addition, the Flash
memory on the controller is not used unnecessar-
ily.

7 Supported functions of atvise®


builder
The controllers support the basic version of the atvise®
builder software. The basic version of the software includes
the following functions:
– Support of the Internet media type (MIME type)
– HTTPS support
– Uploading websites via FTP
– Reading server variables
