Objectives Students will learn how to skip count by 2’s using the Materials Needed
100 chart and also by using buttons.  Paper
 Pencil
 buttons
Information You show how to skip count by 2’s on the 100 charts in
front of the class, while they have their own 100 chart
on there desk. Then you will give everyone buttons and
have them group the buttons in 2’s and ask them to
count them by 2’s.
Verification Ask random students to what the next number is when Other Resources
counting with the 100 chart in class. After you pass out
the buttons and have them group them in 2’s walk
around and make sure they are understanding on the
assignment.
Activity Pass out a work sheet they can do own using the
buttons to help them.
