3. Content:
- The video introduces the life of a T-shirt: from how it was made to how
it is used.
- Along with the process of making a T-shirt, many supplements are used,
including a big amount of water, pesticides, chemicals, electricity and
offer a big risk to farmers’health, environment, etc.
- At the end of the video, Angel suggests some ways to reduce the huge
impact we make to the environment with just one simple fashion item.
4. What I learned/ I like best:
- I have now known a full process of making a T-shirt before it get to the
store and much it cost more than just money.
- Annually, two billion T-shirts are sold globally.
5. New words/phrases
- sow (v.) to plant or spread seeds on or in the ground.
Ex: Even though it is still early in the morning, many farmers has already
sown their crops seeds.
- intricate (adj.) having a lot of different parts and small details that fit
together.
Ex: He show up with intricate clothing that surprised everyone.
- carcinogenic (adj.) likely to cause cancer.
Ex: Many carcinogenic elements are still used to produce daily life
supplies.
