- Lucie Parfitt, YouTuber and tattoo fan, speaking on the BBC’s Smart
Consumer podcast, is a creative and visual person and says that tattoo is a
cool way of expressing one’s self.
- Tattoo industry is big business now, one in five people now have a tattoo.
- Tattoo artist Lee Clements has noticed, also speaking on the BBC’s Smart
Consumer podcast says that in ten years, a lot of celebrities getting tattooed.
With that comes the fact that you’re going to get people who want to copy
them or it becomes almost like a fashion thing, so we do see certain tattoos
becoming a trend and => it kind of dilutes the value a little bit.
4. What I learned/ I like best:
- Tattoo is a new topic for me. Since then, I kind of have had a stereotype for
people having a tattoo. Now it has changed thanks to the information in this
video. Tattoo can be a way for creative people to express themselves.

- parlour (n): name for a shop or room where certain businesses carry out their
trade – such as a tattoo parlour, a massage parlour or an ice cream parlour
Ex: She really likes this particular beauty parlour.
