vegetation, existing services, natural impact for instance the sun orientation, wind direction and also
culture on that area. In this way from the information that they had gain, would help the other group to the
best picture regarding the task that they had carried out. Besides that, for measured drawing group, they
had measure all parts of Tadika & Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Universiti Teknologi Mara and it covers
the entrance area including ground floor and first floor area, site plan and the other drawing. To record
the entire measured element they had using measuring tape and laser distance by pointing the detector
to determine the height, in this case that would be useful to produce the purposed refurbishment drawing.
For condition survey group, they need to inspect and determine the types of defect occur on the building,
find the causes and suggest the best remedial works.

The adjacent buildings around our site were mostly accommodation for the students of UiTM Shah Alam that stay inside the UiTM. The road access at the site and accommodation were easy to access for the student,
staff of Taska, parents of the students of taska and staff of UiTM. Besides that, the parking area at the site and the surrounding site are likely suitable because of the limited parking for student and staff. Other than
that, the adjacent building that were located around the site are nursery, swimming pool and Kolej Teratai.

might be unique and changing as well. Buildings also evolve over time through aging, wear and tear of
use, and the effects of climate. Human factors and concepts of operations have to be considered as well.

In a conclusion for this task, we are divided into three group which is site analysis group, condition
survey and measured drawing group. Site analysis group have been carried out the task by observing
the adjacent building around the area, surrounding environment such as surrounding facilities, main road
and traffic flow, vegetation, existing services, natural impact for instance the sun orientation, wind
direction and also culture on that area. In this way from the information that they had gain, would help the
other group to the best picture regarding the task that they had carried out. Besides that, for measured

drawing group, they had measured all parts of Tadika & Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Universiti Teknologi
Mara and it covered the entrance area including ground floor and first floor area, site plan and the other
drawing. To record the entire measured element they had used measuring tape and laser distance by
pointing the detector to determine the height, in this case that would be useful to produce the purposed
refurbishment drawing. For condition survey group, they already make an inspection and determine the
types of defect occur on the building, find the causes and suggest the best remedial works for the defect
they have found.
