1. Task 6.1: Enabling PowerPivot

Go to Option then choose MS Power Pivot and change Manage to COM Add-Ins. Click Go…

Check list MS Power Pivot then click OK

2. Task 6.2: Using The PowerPovot Tool

Select the table and click Add to Data Model. Three table must to add data power pivot
Drag the Primary key from each table to Sales Table. In Sales table CustomerID and ProductID become
Foreign Key.

Now, click the pivot table to power pivot from each table.
3. Task 6.3: Adding Columns Into PowerPivot

Right click in Add Column, insert column, then rename column. In unit price column type
=RELATED(Product’Price’). Next, in total amount column type ‘Quantity’*’Unit Price’

Click the Pivot table. Then, click the Total Amount in Power Pivot Field.

Select the New Measure, and then select sales in Table Name, type Percentage1 in Measure Name. Next,
type formula and click the Check Formula
5. Task 6.5: Crafting a Dashboard Report Using PivotChart

Click the Power Pivot Manage, and then click the PivotChart in PivotTable

Now, Check list Profession and Quantity. Rename the Title to Quantity Sold
Create a new Pivot chart to Existing Worksheet. Type ‘Sheet1’!$J$3. Check list the Profession and Total
Amount. Change the Bar chart to Pie chart.
6. Task 6.6: Enabling Power View

Go to Excel option. And then click the Add-ins. Choose COM Add-ins and MS Power Map. Click OK
7. Task 6.7: Using the Power View Tool

Select A2:C15 and then go to insert tab. Choose 3d Maps

Ensure that Outlet Store on Location, Performance on Category, Revenue Generated on Size

Report city-wise reflecting the actual price (from Sales’Unit Price’ after calculate) of mobile phone sold
based on brand

Create a clustered column reflecting the actual price of mobile phone sold based on brand
Before create a pie chart, make a power pivot reflecting the actual price of mobile phone sold based on
gender

Create a pie chart reflecting the actual price of mobile phone sold based on gender
9. 6.9: Exercise 2

Select the table. Click the 3d Map on Insert tab

Place the State into Location, Lost (In $) into Size, and Status into Category
