Materials: pictures, marker, cartolina, LED TV, PowerPoint, scotch tape

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preparatory Activities

1. Review

What are the different parts of the plants? (Spelling out the parts of the plants)
Describe the parts of the plants.

2. Motivation

Choose a picture that is made from plants and post it under the big tree. Tell
something about your choices.

B. Developmental Activities

1. Presentation

Based on your work, what can you say about those pictures?
I have here a short video about the uses of plants. Before we start, what are we
going to do first?
In the video presented, what is the uses of plants? What are the importance of
plants? To human? To animals?
Here are some uses of plants:
As a pupil, what can you do to protect our plants? What attitude you can show to
the plants?
Identify the plants posted on the board and tell what their uses.

2. Application/Differentiated Activities

Before we start with your group activity, let us read the rule first. (Present the
rubrics for group activity.)
Group 1 – Make a comic strip and a dialogue about the uses of plants.
Present it to the class.
Group 2 – Make a poem about the uses of plants. Present it to
the class.
Group 3 – Draw the most important thing that plants gives you. Present it
to the class.
Group 4 – List the things that the plants gives you as person and to
animals. Present it to the class.

List five (5) each of a useful plants and a harmful plants in your Science Notebook.
