VOCABULARY FOR THE PASSAGE
• Round: means something that is shaped like a circle.
Example: The shape of the plate is round.

• Oblong: a rectangular-like object.


Example: The pill has a oblong shape.

• Mud: is a soft, sticky matter resulting from the mixing of soil and water.

• Straw: is dried stalks of grain, used to cover the roof of a house.

• Square: is a shape that has four sides.


Example: The Rubik's cube has square sides.

•Wood: is a hard fibrous material that is made from trees.

• Brick: is a small rectangular block made from clay ,used in building.

• Stone: is hard solid mineral which is made from rocks , used in buildings.

• Mattress: is a fabric case filled with soft & springy material,
used for sleeping

• Sink: is a pool or pit for the deposit of water.

• Refrigerator: is used to cool and store our food.

• Fork: is used to eat food.

• Pillow: is used to rest our head on our bed.

• Soap: is used to wash our hands and body.
