PURPOSE : This procedure is used as work instruction for Starting/Stopping of Coal Mill & Coal Feeder.
SCOPE : This procedure is applicable to Coal Mill & Coal Feeder located in PT. GPK CSFPP 2X100 MW.
RESPONSIBILITY : Boiler operator , Desk Engineer, Unit Control Engineer & Shift In charge.
PROCEDURE:
LINE UP PROCEDURE:
1) No PTW is pending.
2) All manholes are closed.
3) Check sufficient coal in bunker.
4) Feeder inlet gate open.
5) Bunker outlet gate open.
6) Seal air valve to feeder & mill is open.
7) Open cold air gate
8) Open burner isolation gate at corner 1, 2, 3 & 4 and confirm 'open' limit is acting to DCS.
9) Ensure mill discharge valve should be open.
10) Open feeder outlet gate.
11) Feeder module is ON.
12) Feeder selection is in Remote (on feeder panel).
13) Clean out conveyor is in ON position.(on feeder panel).
14) Lube oil level is normal.
15) LOP suction, discharge valves are open.
16) Line-up cooling water to lube oil coolers.( supply , return valves are open )
17) Lube oil pump- A&B modules are ON and in remote.
18) Breaker in service and in remote.
19) Motor protection relay is healthy.
20) PA fan in service.
21) Seal air fan in service.
22) All Instruments are lined up.
23) Mill reject system is ready.
24) Ensure Mill inert steam is lined-up.
4) Open All Gate valve outlet Mill, ensure in field normal open
5) Insure Flame Detector mill condition “On”
6) Open hot air gate valve and cold air gate valve
7) Open Valve Sealing Air mill
8) Maintain air flow inlet mill flow ……. t/h, setting mill outlet temperature 50-66 0C
9) Starts Motor Mill and observe any abnormal sound, Motor current and vibration is normal.
10) Drop hidrolik (ensure in field all hidrolik normal position)
11) Open and close gate Valve Stop Box (ensure no coal in Stop box)
12) Open feeder outlet gate.
13) Maintain air flow > 20 t/h, Mill outlet temperature 50 to 66 0C.
14) Start feeder.
15) Load the mill by increasing feeder rate and hot/cold air damper to maintain mill outlet
temperature.
1) Oil flow (> 32 t/h), Pressure (>5 Kpa) to Planetary gear box, and Filter DP (< …….. bar).
2) Mill outlet temp within limit (50 to 60 0C).
3) Mill bowl DP is normal.
4) All Bearings temp are normal < 55 C
5) All Bearings vibrations are normal.
6) Winding temp are normal <120 C
7) Motor Temp normal <80 C
8) Lube oil level is normal
9) Pulverized fuel fineness at routine intervals.
10) Mill rejects quality and quantity.(Stop box/pyrite)
11) Any abnormal sound.
12) All Hydrolik position normal
13) Any air / oil / coal leakages.
RECORDS: The records are maintained in field log book and in CCR log book.
