Is U19-303-0015 The academic year commences on 20th April 2019. You are required to report at any
nearest OUT Regional Centre for relevant information on your programme, registration procedures and
intensive online orientation.

To register you must pay a non-refundable fee for compulsory charges and minimum tuition fee for at least
three courses with one unit. These are;-
 Registration fee 30,000/=
 Student identity card 20,000/=
 TCU quality assurance fee 20,000/=
 student organization fee 20,000/=
 Tuition fee 120,000/=
Total 210,000/=

On reporting at the university, please submit online your form four and six index numbers and AVN number
for Diploma holders and evidence for deposited tuition fee and compulsory charges, via email of the director
of the regional centre.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

i) Generate control number by using username and password used to apply at the OUT. This
is form 4 index number and automatic generated password 123456. Example;-username;-
S1122/0333/2017, pass word 123456.
ii) Enter username and password in online application system and create control number.
iii) The system will automatically create control number for 190,000/= payable through banks
and mobile. The 20,000/= for OUT student union fee shall be paid without control
number at the bank. Account Name: Open University of Tanzania (OUTSO) NBC Bank,
Account Number 081101000085 for local students. For international students NBC
Corporate Branch, Account 011105000670 SWIFT CODE: NLCBTZTX, P. O. Box 9062
Dar es salaam, Tanzania.
iv) Upon payment, the system will activate registration number and student’s data in SARIS
v) Student will be issued with SARIS user name and password to enable course registration.
vi) Once the student has registered the course, the paid amount will be updated in the
students SARIS account and the student will be required to pay the remaining balance of
the first half fees within prescribed time as shown in the invoice.
vii) Collect receipt for the payment made at any nearest OUT centre.
viii) Once fee paid are not REFUNDED
