Respected sir/madam,

I humbly inform you that I have a keen interest about astronomy and astrophysics
from almost my childhood days.As an undergraduate student of Physics I would like to study and
encourage students around me to get engaged with astronomy and astrophysics and to participate
in IAAC. Being an IAAC ambassador will help me reach my dream to do this. This single motivation
makes me try to reach out to you in the hope that you will understand me and accept my application
for this honourable duty.
Activities I would do as IAAC ambassador.
(1) I can arrange talks and exhibitions on IAAC and astronomy in my city which will surely
encourage students to participate in it.
(2) As I will pursue my career in astrophysics I will get connected with more physicists and
professors. I can persuade them to engage with IAAC and thus expand the reach of IAAC.
(3) With the help of my professors Dr. Partha Ghosh, Dr. Prabal saha and Dr. Tapas das I can
arrange more ways to introduce about IAAC and astronomy in school and colleges.
(4) As I have connections, I will have a platform to influence students to engage in IAAC and
astronomy by various teaching institutes.
How can I inspire students for astronomy and encourage them to participate
in IAAC.
(1) By various talks and exhibitions in schools and colleges students will be inspired to take part in
this great event.
(2) I can persuade students and their parents to participate in the sky watching programme in M. P.
Birla Planetarium in Kolkata.Thus they will be interested in astronomy.
(3) I can make a local organization which will promote IAAC and inspire students by organizing
competitions which will in the long run make the students be more engaged in astronomy.
(4) I can arrange special astronomy class with the help of my respectable professors.
How many students can I reach.
I guess at the very beginning I can reach at least 2000 students including both school and college
level.And in the long run that will surely increase.
