    Activity1- To find the pH of the following samples by using pH paper / universal indicator.

    Dilute hydrochloric acid.


    Dilute NaOH solution.
    Dilute ethanoic acid solution.
    Lemon juice.
    Water.
    Dilute sodium bicarbonate solution.

    WEEK 2 (25 MAY 2020 – 30 MAY 2020)


    Activity 2-To study the properties of acids and bases (HCl and NaOH) by their reaction with:

    Litmus solution (blue/Red)


    Zinc metal
    Solid sodium carbonate

    WEEK 3 (1 JUNE 2020 – 7 JUNE 2020)

    Activity3- Make power point presentation on types of Chemical Reaction and write at least 5
    balanced chemical equations of each type of reaction mentioning reactants involved and
    product formed.

    WEEK 4 (8 JUNE 2020 – 14 JUNE 2020)


    Portfolio: - Prepare portfolio on Chapter-2 Acids, bases and Salts
    Note: - first two activities have to be recorded in practical file.
