Reflection on the Homily of Fr. Emil Lim, svd

As the COVID 19 cases escalated, the government immediately implemented the Enhanced
Community Quarantine. For me, it is really good that the government take immediate actions. It’s sad to
know that so many people lost their lives because of deadly virus. Almost everyone lost their job and
had no sufficient income to support their family because the Enhanced Community Quarantine is still
continue to extend. May be God made this crisis for us to test our faith and repent our sins.

Reflecting on the Homily of Fr. Emil LIM, SVD, he quoted that doing your part for the
community, for the others and for the country you are doing a good work. On the third week of ECQ, my
mother decided to prepare packed lunch for the front liners in our barangay and for less fortunate. I
accompanied my mother to distribute the foods to their houses. In this way, we show our support to
them. I am thankful to God that He’s protecting us from the deadly virus and to all the graces that He
gave.
