Some people say that watching a movie based on a book is more exciting than reading a book.

Others disagree.

As a consequence of fast modern lifestyle, average person loses concentration after

appoximately eight seconds. Many people believe they do not have enough time to read books
and prefer to watch videos and films. Movies are also more visually appealing, and many
students, who do not have time or will to read books, think that it is better to watch movies
based on a book. Despite that, movies cannot completely replace books and the experience of
reading.
It is true that movies are more visually appealing and therefore more attractive to younger
people. For that reason, movies based on books are an acceptable alternative to reading.
Movies skip a lot of details from books, and they do not need to describe the events, they just
show the pictures, which can spare a lot of time.
At the same time, we cannot deny the power of books to create vast worlds only through
words. And the fact that reading requires more time is not necessarily a bad thing, because the
experience will take longer. While visualising situations in the books, a reader also practices
his own imagination.
As conclusion, we can say that while movie adaptations can be helpful and even a great
experience on their own, they can never fully replicate the experience of reading of the book.
