Books against Movies: Why Reading Is Preferred

Book and Movies are things you use to pass time, entertain yet they are different. Some
people think movies are superior because of you can watch the movie from different
perspectives. I personally prefer movies than books, but I’m here to discuss why books
are more preferred than Movies, and what their differences are.

Let’s start with the Movies. First, movies are difficult to make and it takes time and
dedication to make a full length feature film. It depends on the kind of movie, setting that
makes it hard to produce. Second, movies does not give the watcher the freedom of
imagining the story. Watchers can’t imagine what is happening because they are
watching the story unfold right before them. Lastly, whenever a movie is based on a
book, the producers cut characters, events, and details to save time.
Let’s move on to Books, First of all, books give the reader the ability to imagine
anything, they can imagine the things that they can hear, see, they can imagine that
they are in the book themselves. Second, books are move convenient and travel
friendly, let’s say that you’re travelling and you got bored, you can just grab and a book
from your bag and pick up where you left off. Third, books can attract the reader to
continue reading and give some prolonged suspense so that the reader will be hooked
or tempted to finish the book to find out the truth. Lastly, Reading books can improve
the reader’s writing and reading skills, but watching movies brings nothing else but
entertainment.
Though books can make readers improve their skills and give them a philosophical
mind, At the end of the day, It doesn’t matter what people prefer, they are both good
things for killing time and boredom.
