Recommendation
Boracay Island is facing an environmental issue such as pollution caused by the
improper waste disposal of tourists. Another problem that needs to be confronted is the
number of tourists arriving in Boracay. In order to resolve the problem about
environmental issue, there should be signages about environmental awareness for the
tourists to be responsible enough to throw their wastes on a proper trash can. Private
sectors should implement projects for environmental protection to restore the beauty of
Boracay. To cope with the increasing number of tourists, the government should only
allow visitors with verified reservations and limit tourists’ arrivals.
