● Shows a timetable of when the

transport arrives and departs

● Indicates how occupied the transport is

at the time

● If the transport is running late, it shows

how long it is delayed

In the Past - before the age of internet

○ Timetable posted at each bus stop
○ In major bus exchange , there were printout timetables available for
users to take with them
○ No way of knowing if a bus was delayed or cancelled
● Train
○ Timetable posted at each train station
○ No way of knowing if a train was delayed or cancelled
● Ferry
○ Timetable posted at each ferry wharf
In the Future

● Whilst it is currently real -time data, there are occasional lags which can be

improved

● Early notification if a bus/train/ferry of the user’s usual commute is cancelled

● Notifications when the user’s usual mode to transport is due to arrive

● Incorporate a news update /auto pop up on road conditions for buses, weather

conditions for ferries and any train works that may delay or lead to cancellation of

train

● Add in option of audio input/output for users with vision impairment
